Why rita?

Have you ever looked at a person and wondered how they have so much life and joy in them?

That is Rita Reis Dos Santos, mother-in-law to Noemi and ‘gran-in-law’ to Abby.

To know her is to see life in colour.

She is the type of woman who is the happiest when her family and friends are around her. You can’t leave her presence without feeling deeply loved. At times you feel you could almost touch the caring nature that surrounds her and often she would express this care through her passionate cooking. During the festive season, she was know to have a table full of meals, snacks and baked goods.

An extremely generous woman, she would often use her savings to buy groceries for the less fortunate or pass along a treasured possession to someone who might enjoy it as much as she did. It was unlikely that you would be turned away by her. She loves to love.
